Imagine, spending over $25,000+ on various skin products and/or procedures, only to witness their efficacy fall short or witness results that are disappointingly short-lived. This predicament not only takes a toll on our mental well-being but also places a significant dent in our financial resources.
Like many of you, I embarked on a journey of trail and error, experimenting with a myriad of products and procedures in my quest to combat persistent acne and the troubling aftermath it left in the form of scarring. Over the course of numerous years, I came to the realization that the key to addressing these skin concerns lay not merely in what I was applying topically but, perhaps more significantly, in what I was nourishing my body with internally.
In this post, I aim to provide an overview of the various treatments I have personally employed in my battle against acne and post-acne scarring. I should emphasize that the upcoming post will delve into each treatment method in greater detail, offering a more comprehensive understanding of their individual effectiveness.
It’s essential to underscore that the insights and experiences I’ll be sharing are purely a reflection of my personal journey and the specific products and procedures that I have encountered on this path. Your results and experiences may vary.
While I have previosly emphasized that soy played a pivotal role in the development of my acne, it is essential to mention that the items highlighted in red represent the treatments, products, and/or procedures that have notably yielded improvements in the condition of my skin. In future posts, I will go more into depth with each of the four categories listed above.
